Pastor Grady Pennell

Grady and Pat have served Eagle River Grace since March 2007 when Grady retired as a chaplain from the US Navy after 26 years of service. In the Navy, he served a tour of duty on a submarine, cruiser, aircraft carrier, Seabee Battalion, and with numerous U.S. Marine units, which included a combat tour in the first Gulf War. He has lived in Iceland, Spain, Korea, and Japan. Pat remained at home raising two children and stirring up trouble. Grady earned a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, M.A Liberty University, Life Coaching, and a B.S. from Texas A&M. Both Grady and Pat have always seen ministry as a partnership in their marriage of 36 years. Their  active, diverse ministry and travels span over four decades and in over 30 countries. Pat is a graduate of the University of Vermont in foreign languages and has a Masters in Counseling from Wheaton, IL. Grady and his wife Pat are the parents of two adult children. Their son is an Army chaplain, and he and his wife and two grandchildren serve wherever the Army sends them. Their daughter is graduate of University of Alaska, Anchorage and works in San Diego.
